SHREVE MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL
Go to church someplace this week !!!

Daily Word
It has long been the practice of the Christian Church to observe the forty days before Easter and give up something during that time as a sacrifice. People who are marginal in their faith will engage in the Lenten season. Now as far as I am concerned God uses a variety of means to get to people. Those who's lips say I love you but their heart is far from HIM are the vary one's God is trying to reach....
You go to church periodically
You send your tithe to church
You believe God exist enough to pray but not believe your prayers are answered
You love some people but will not forgive others
You have a form of godliness but deny the power of God
I could go on but you get the picture.
God sent His son to redeem all mankind from sin, sickness and death. If you truly believe this then you will make the necessary changes in your life to reflect that belief.
Romans 12:1 And so, dear brothers, I plead with you to give your bodies to God. Let them be a living sacrifice, holy-the kind he can accept. When you think of what he has done for you, is this too much to ask? 2 Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but be a new and different person with a fresh newness in all you do and think. Then you will learn from your own experience how his ways will really satisfy you. TLB
At the end of this Lenten season let's not end but begin to serve God in a way that is pleasing to HIM.
![1 Peter 2:5-6 And now you have become living building-stones for God's use in building his house. What's more, you are his holy priests; so come to him-[you who are acceptable to him because of Jesus Christ]-and offer to God those things that please him. Amos 5:21-24 I hate, I despise your feasts, and I will take no delight in your solemn assemblies. 22 Yea, though ye offer me your burnt-offerings and meal-offerings, I will not accept them; neither will I regard the peace-offerings of your fat beasts. 23 Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols. 24 But let justice roll down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.
